What it measures

Five categories, weighted by impact

These are the same five categories used in a paid audit. The scan automates the measurable part of it.

18% weight

Crawl and indexing

Sitemap, robots directives, canonical logic, HTTPS, viewport and any stray noindex tags. If a crawler cannot get in, nothing else counts.

24% weight

Page foundations

Title length, meta descriptions, exactly one H1 per page, and heading depth. The signals that have mattered for twenty years and are still missing on most KL sites.

26% weight

AI answer readiness

Question-shaped headings, content depth, lists and tables, semantic landmarks and language declaration. Whether a model can lift a clean answer from your page.

20% weight

Structured data and entities

JSON-LD presence, whether an Organization or LocalBusiness block defines your business, plus FAQ and breadcrumb markup.

12% weight

Trust and authority signals

Image alt coverage, internal link density, outbound citations, and whether contact details are actually detectable on the page.

The output

A ranked fix list

Not a wall of red. Issues sorted into fix first, improve, and passing, so you know where the next hour of work should go.

How to read your score

80 and above. The foundation is sound. Remaining gains come from authority and citation work rather than on-page fixes.

65 to 79. Google reads the site well. AI systems read it partly. Usually a structured data and answer-format gap.

45 to 64. The common Malaysian result. Basics half done, entity definition missing, content written to describe rather than answer.

Below 45. Structural problems are holding back both rankings and AI visibility at once. Most of it is fixable within a quarter, and the order matters more than the effort.

What the scan cannot see. It reads five pages, so it will not judge a two-thousand-page site fairly. It does not measure backlinks, competitor gaps, keyword targeting or commercial intent. It is a foundation check, not a strategy. That part is what the free consultation is for.

Scan finished? The useful next question is which fix moves revenue rather than which fix is easiest. Send Robin your score and he will tell you, free.

Questions

Scanner questions

Do I have to give my email to see my score?

No. The scan is free and your score, the category ratings and the verdict appear straight away. It opens in a new tab on Robin's scanner, the same tool used in client work, so this page stays open behind it.

Does the scan change anything on my website?

No. It only reads publicly available pages, exactly as a search engine crawler does. Nothing is submitted, modified or stored on your site.

Why did the scan fail on my site?

Usually one of three reasons. The address was mistyped, the site blocks automated requests through a firewall or bot rule, or the server took longer than eight seconds to respond. Try it with and without www. If it still fails, send the address to Robin and it can be run manually.

Can I scan a competitor's site?

Yes. It only reads public pages. Running your own site and your two closest KL competitors takes about a minute and is usually more revealing than reading your own score alone.
